John Ed's "right hand", Romy was born and raised in Mexico City.  After she married, she and her husband headed west to raise their family and found paradise in Bucerias.

Romy went to work for John Ed in his home and came along with him when he opened Villas del Sol.  After working together for 15 years, Romy now speaks very good English and is left in charge of Villas del Sol when John Ed returns for family visits to Oklahoma every year. To quote John Ed, "Romy is the heart of Villas del Sol, I just WORK here"!

Over 60% of the occupancy at Villas del Sol are previous guests.  Vacationers from all over Canada and the USA arrive as guests and leave as friends.  As is said, "When the dust of Bucerias settles on your soul, you'll have no other place to go"!  Welcome Home!
