Effective September 1 2008, Villas del Sol is under new management and new ownership. The current managers, Bruce and Elaine, from Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada invite you to join them at Villas del Sol and offer the same great hospitality that Villas del Sol has offered in the past. There are exciting new plans and developments for Villas del Sol which will be in place by the start of the winter 2008-2009 season.

We are sad to report that after many years of poor health, Villas del Sol's previous owner, Innkeeper, Owner/Manager John Ed Lee (originally from Oklahoma) passed away in Bucerias on September 3, 2008 and will be missed by his many friends in Mexico, the United States and Canada, including the many guests who vacationed at Villas del Sol since he opened for business in 1999. John Ed always had a story to tell and a wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him.

We are happy to report that Villas del Sol's "right hand", Romy will be staying on at Villas del Sol and will work with the new management to ensure you have a wonderful vacation in Paradise.

Romy was born and raised in Mexico City. After she married, she and her husband headed west to raise their family and found paradise in Bucerias. Romy speaks very good English and always has a smile for the guests.

Over 60% of the occupancy at Villas del Sol are previous guests. Vacationers from all over Canada and the USA arrive as guests and leave as friends. As is said, "When the dust of Bucerias settles on your soul, you'll have no other place to go"! Welcome Home!
